He is a former Marine and semi-professional football player. He works as a federal law enforcement officer in Des Moines, Iowa; first, for Department of Homeland Security, and currently, for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

Jeff is the author of thriller, suspense, and horror books and stories. His first novel, Lucifer’s Calling, was published by Vanilla Heart Publishing in 2008. The follow up novel, Deadly Demented, was published in 2009, also by Vanilla Heart Publishing. Both novels are available to major and independent books stores, as well as being available online through sites such as Amazon.com. They are available in traditional print format, as well as ebook format.

Since his novels first appeared, Jeff has also published several ebook short stories. “Dead Holiday” was the first short story in the Mark Blankenship series. It was published by Echelon Press in December 2009. In April 2010, he made a free read, “House of Misery,” available on his website. In August 2010, the next installment of the Blankenship series was published on Smashwords.com.
